PBA suspends Camson, Almazan, Miranda

The PBA Commissioner’s Office has meted meted out one-game suspensions on Eric Camson, Raymond Almazan, and Michael Miranda after the three figured in separate fights over the weekend.

On top of the one-game ban, the players were also were also fined by PBA officer-in-charge Willie Maecial.

Kia bruiser Camson was asked to pay P30,000 for instigating the fight against Almazan on Saturday, while the Rain or Shine center was slapped a P20,000 fine for figuring in the fist fight.

The two traded blows late in the first half of the game between the Picanto and the Elasto Painters last Saturday. They were sent to the showers early after both incurring a flagrant foul penalty two.

Kia came out on top in the duel, 98-94 for their first win of the conference.

Meanwhile, Miranda was penalized P20,000 for kicking Chris Ross in the groin late in NLEX’s 109-98 defeat to San Miguel last Friday.
