MANILA, Philippines–After the successful Tour of Clark, the first leg of Immuvit Race Against Time Series, Pilipinas Cycling League will hold the second leg this weekend at the Subic Bay Free Port. The event is dubbed Tour of Subic.
This three-stage tour of Subic will be using a route to be taken on by racers for the first time, according to Marilen Nunez, president of LEN Plus Inc., the organizer.
The race will start on Saturday morning, May 21, with a 22.17 kilometer individual time trial for all five categories: Masters, Executive A and B, Female, and Juniors.
This will be followed by stage two which will commence in the afternoon for the King of the Mountain (KOM) Circuit Race. Those under the Masters and Executive A categories will cover 42.56 kilometers while the Executive B, Female, and Junior categories will take on 31.92 kilometers for this stage.
On Sunday morning, May 22, the final stage of the road race will span 73.8 kilometers for all the categories.
The first leg of the tour was in Clark last March 12-13. The organizers expect to return to Subic and Clark for the last two remaining legs of the race in the latter half of the year. For more information on the Immuvit Race Against Time races, add them up a https://www.facebook.com/ImmuvitPH.
