Free from injuries, Vic Manuel is reminding everyone that he’s still among the best big men in the PBA.

Manuel has regained his deadly form and he has been one of the major reasons for Alaska’s rise in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup.

The Aces are currently the hottest team in the league having won six straight games, but their streak wouldn’t have reached this far if it wasn’t for Manuel’s production this past week that eventually earned him the Player of the Week honor.

The 6-foot-4 Manuel posted 21 points and five rebounds to lead Alaska past GlobalPort, 105-98, in overtime on Sunday in Antipolo.

He also sparked the Aces to a 93-75 rout of the Phoenix Fuel Masters on Wednesday with 10 points and three rebounds off the bench.

Manuel averaged 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals off the bench during that stretch.

Following Magnolia’s loss to San Miguel, Alaska now tied with the Hotshots in second place with a 6-2 record.
