TNT coach Nash Racela struggled to find the right words but at the end of the day, he knew that his team just needs to get its act together and end the slump in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup.

“We just need to break the losing streak. We just have to find ways to win the next one. We don’t really have a choice but to focus on the next game,” Racela said.

Losing to Ginebra, 78-93 on Sunday, the soft-spoken mentor accepted the realities that no matter how hard the challenge is, the KaTropa must do their best to advance to the quarterfinals and no longer think about the pressure.

Things, however, won’t get any better for TNT, which sits at eighth place with a 4-5 card.

Slated to battle GlobalPort and NLEX in their last two assignments, the KaTropa could also miss vital cogs namely Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, and Troy Rosario in those tiffs as the three are set to be called up for Gilas Pilipinas duty for the second window of the 2019 Fiba World Cup Asian qualifiers.

Racela, however, isn’t ready to surrender just yet.

“Every game is tough this conference. You can’t take anything lightly and we learned our lesson in our previous games,” he said.

“You just have to focus on the next game. Hopefully, we win the next one.”
