Nietes continues his reign as world champion, KOs Reveco
Donnie Nietes, the longest reigning Filipino world champion, continued his rule after stopping Juan Carlos Reveco of Argentina to retain his IBF flyweight title Sunday (Manila time) at The Forum in Inglewood, California, USA.
Nietes unleashed a flurry of punches to the body that dropped Reveco, who got back up but was still very wobbly, prompting the referee to stop the fight at the 53-second mark of the seventh round.
