The Senate Defenders hope to win their first-ever title via a sweep when they battle the Malacañang-Philippine Sports Commission Kamao in Monday’s Game 2 of the UNTV Cup Finals at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Led by former Chiang Kai Shek College player Gary Sevilla and ex-pro Jeff Sanders, the Defenders will try to finish off the Kamao at 7 p.m. in their best-of-three title series. The Defenders routed Kamao, 77-62, in Game 1.
