Ancajas leads int’l, PH champs in Elorde rites

Jerwin Ancajas and fellow Boxer of the Year awardees Milan Melindo and Marlon Tapales head a cast of Philippine and international champions who will be honored in the 18th Annual Gabriel “Flash” Elorde Memorial Awards and Banquet of Champions on March 25 at Okada Manila.

Nine Philippine champions, including lone lady boxer Gretel de Paz (bantamweight) and 39 international and regional titleholders, including Elorde scions Juan Miguel Elorde (WBO AsPac super bantam) and Juan Martin Elorde (WBO Oriental lightweight) comprise the class of 2017.
