Scottie Thompson and June Mar Fajardo will lead their respective squads when the 2018 PBA All-Star Week rolls on from May 23 to 27.
The Ginebra guard was the top vote-getter in the fan balloting with 33,068 votes as he is set to carry the mantle for the Mindanao All-Stars.
At second place is the reigning four-time PBA Most Valuable Player, who amassed 32,135 votes as he leads the fight for the Visayas All-Stars.
Mark Barroca of Magnolia finished at third with 31,810 votes to earn his spot in Mindanao, while James Yap of Rain or Shine placed fourth in the fan balloting with 30,203 votes to once again be a starter for Visayas.
Ginebra forward Japeth Aguilar collected 23,348 votes to earn his spot captain the Luzon All-Stars.
This year’s PBA All-Star festivities will once again be a three-leg affair as the selection will take on Gilas Pilipinas in Digos, Batangas, and Ilo-ilo.
Completing the starters for Luzon are Calvin Abueva of Alaska (18,655), LA Tenorio (14,381), Paul Lee (14,095), and Marc Pingris (14,019).
Also starting for Visayas are super rookie Kiefer Ravena (27,642), Greg Slaughter (21,016), and Terrence Romeo (20,720).
Mindanao, on the other hand, will have Jio Jalalon (26,850), Peter June Simon (26,754), and Mac Belo (21,732) in its starting five.
