Superal deferred plans to play in her first Symetra event also set this week in California, opting instead to seek a follow up to her victories in Tagaytay and Riviera last month.
Seven Thai aces and a host of amateurs are also entered in the P1.5-million event, out to spoil another win by Superal, who ruled her last two tournaments by a combined 21 strokes.
Former leg winner Saruttaya Ngam-usawan banners the Thai delegation that include Jaruporn P. Na Ayuttaya, Numa Gulyanamitta, Sarinee Thitiratanakorn, Supakchaya Pattaranakrueang, Thanuttra Boonraksasat and Ananya Vitayakonkomol.
Cyna Rodriguez, another Symetra Tour veteran, and Chihiro Ikeda, who won at Eagle Ridge, are the other local names worth watching in the 54-hole championship.
