Paul Lee was once again hurt in a highly-physical Game 4 between Magnolia and San Miguel on Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The star guard seemingly sprained his left ankle while trying to wiggle off the defense of Chris Ross with less than four minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Lee still hit a three from the top of the arc to give the Hotshots a 39-36 lead with 3:16 remaining, but he favored his left leg on his way back on defense.

He still tried to hound the Beermen, but his collision with Marcio Lassiter forced him to clutch his ankle and ask the coaches to be subbed out with 2:42 remaining in the first half.

Lee had seven points and three assists in 15 minutes of action in the first two quarters. He returned to start in the second half, which is ongoing as of posting.

Magnolia seeks to equalize the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, and it holds a close 46-45 advantage over San Miguel at halftime.
