Adamson shoots for a fourth win and solo second against Far Eastern University at 4 p.m.
La Salle coach Ramil de Jesus said his wards have yet to reach peak form.
“Maybe by next month we’ll play even better,” said De Jesus after the Lady Archers disposed of the University of the Philippines, 25-16, 25-17, 25-22, last Wednesday. “We still couldn’t practice as a complete team because of the ongoing [academic] finals.”
Aside from the Cruz sisters, the Lady Archers will also rely on top blocker Michelle Gumabao, spiker Abigail Maraño, setter Mika Esperanza, Ara Galang and Mika Reyes.
Pau Soriano, Sheila Pineda, Mayette Zapanta and Jampong Quinlog have been starring for Adamson, tied with idle Ateneo at 3-1.
In men’s action, University of Santo Tomas (5-1) tries to strengthen its hold of second spot against winless UE (0-5) at 10:30 a.m. after the 9 a.m. duel pitting University of the Philippines (2-2) and Ateneo (1-3).
