JFP asks POC for help
Former jiu-jitsu official Samantha Cebrero has appealed to newly-elected Philippine Olympic Committee officials headed by president Ricky Vargas and chair Bambol Tolentino to intervene in the squabble within the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines (JFP). Cebrero had earlier asked JFP officials, led by Ramon “Choy” Cojuangco, to “step down and allow the right people to handle the affairs of the sport.” She said the POC should immediately come up with a decision after supervising the recent arbitration meeting among feuding jiu-jitsu officials.
