Cargo Movers advance to Final 4

Defending champion F2 Logistics used a balanced attack to prevail against Smart and make the semifinals of the Chooks To Go-Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at Gen. Trias Sports Center in Cavite on Saturday.

Imports Maria Jose Perez and Kennedy Bryan joined forces with team captain Cha Cruz-Behag as the Cargo Movers swept the Giga Hitters, 25-18, 25-18, 27-25.

F2 didn’t find the need to use twice-to-beat shield against Smart, which ended its maiden campaign without a win despite the presence of Cuban star Gyselle Silva.
F2 will next face either Foton or Sta. Lucia. —MARC REYES
