Several new players showed up for the second week of tryouts for the Philippine women’s national volleyball team Wednesday at Arellano Gym.

Kath Arado of University of the East, Lourdes Clemente of F2 Logistics, Denden Lazaro and Royce Tubino of Cocolife, Bang Pineda of Generika, and Diana Carlos of University of the Philippines were all first-time attendees for the series of trainings to determine who will make up the national team pool.

Of the newcomers, Lazaro and Pineda are not included on the partial list of invitees but new coach Ramil De Jesus has since opened the tryouts to whoever wants to participate.
