Luna only played one full set and made it count. She converted timely hits as part of a pivotal 7-0 surge in the third set that put La Salle in the driver’s seat, 19-15, after falling behind by five, 8-3.

“I just don’t want coach to think that I’m not rewarding his trust in me,” said Luna, who finished with nine points, seven of which off spikes, in Filipino. “I don’t want coach to lose that trust.”
