Christian Standhardinger and Troy Rosario will banner the Philippine men’s team competing in the 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup in June.

The San Miguel big man will once again don the national tri-colors, this time in the half court, as he represents the nation together with Rosario, Roger Pogoy, and Stanley Pringle.

Of the four, only Rosario has had a previous run with the 3×3 team after playing for Manila North in the 2016 Fiba 3×3 World Tour.

Standhardinger last played for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur.

Rosario and Pogoy, who are teammates at TNT, continue their partnership while it will be Pringle’s first tour of duty as a member of the national team and is expected to anchor the offense for the Philippines.

Ronnie Magsanoc is tasked to coach the team which is slotted in Group C, together with Russia, Brazil, Canada, and Mongolia.

Also, Afril Bernardino, Jack Animam, Gemma Miranda, and Janine Pontejos will compose the Philippine women’s team in the global hoops exposition.

Patrick Aquino will call the shots for the team, which is grouped with Hungary, Netherlands, Germany, and Spain in Group D.

The 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup will be held from June 8 to 12 at Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
