An epic championship series gets an explosive ending on Wednesday night as San Miguel Alab Pilipinas and Thailand’s Mono Vampire go at it one last time for the Asean Basketball League crown at Santa Rosa Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Laguna.
Game time is at 8 p.m.
The Filipino club got the split that it set out for in Bangkok, but coach Jimmy Alapag’s charges might rue the missed opportunity to close out the series Monday night when Alab committed a season-high 26 turnovers in an 88-83 defeat that forced the rubber match of this best-of-five series.
“It’s just (now about) coming home and getting the championship at home,” two-time league MVP Ray Parks told Filipino scribes Monday night.
