UST claims UAAP Season 80 general championship
University of Santo Tomas once again finished on top of the UAAP Season 80 to take home its 42nd overall championship.
The Growling Tigers dominated the field with 283 points, 14 points clear of runner-up La Salle, which finished with 269 points.
UST took home six golds, seven silvers, and three bronze medals to become the best performing school in the league for the third time in three years.
Article continues after this advertisementUniversity of the Philippines claimed third place with 234 points, edging fourth-placer Ateneo which had 230 points.
National University placed at fifth with 179 points built on eight golds, followed by University of the East (168 points), Far Eastern University (151 points), and Adamson (101 points).
