Perfect game gives Valdez top seeding
Paulo Valdez brought home medals from the FIQ World Championships and Asian Games during his prime.
Also a three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, Valdez recalled his old form yesterday to roll the first perfect game in the PBF Pagcor Philippine International Open Championships at Coronado Lanes, Starmall.
“It felt good. I just have to be consistent in my succeeding games,” said the 45-year-old Valdez, a former national team standout.

World Cup champion Krizziah Lyn Tabora, meanwhile, flaunted the high-caliber performance that gave her multiple medals in the international arena by topping the women’s open division with 1515.
Tabora, who also picked up a silver medal in the Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan last year, was the first bowler in the two-week tourney to break the 1500 barrier after averaging 252.50 points and compiling a three-game series of 794.
