Neil Etheridge is back in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper preserved the clean sheet for Cardiff City as it settled for a scoreless draw over Reading early Monday morning (Manila time).
Cardiff City placed second in the second-division with 90 points as it, together with 2018 EPL Champion Wolverhampton Wanderers, gained a promotion to the top-flight English football league.
This is just the latest of a string of accomplishments for Etheridge, who was the starting goalkeeper for the Philippine Azkals when they earned a spot to the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, a first for the country.
Etheridge was previously in the lineup of Fulham from 2008 to 2014, but struggled to get playing time in his tenure there.
