Creamline bounces back, tops PayMaya

Creamline swerved right back on the winning track and bulldozed through PayMaya in straight sets, 25-18, 25-23, 25-19, in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference Sunday at People’s Gym in Tuguegarao City.

The vaunted Cool Smashers, who have the likes of Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao, Melissa Gohing, and Jia Morado lost to BanKo in five sets, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 17-25, 15-11, on Saturday slashing their hopes if a sweep of the eliminations.

Creamline improved to a 2-1 record the same record the High Flyers have.

Kuttika Kaewpin led the way for the Cool Smashers with 17 points while Valdez and Gumabao pitched in a combined 20 points.

Nicole Rountree put up 17 points for the High Flyers but she got little help from her teammates.

PayMaya’s second-leading scorer of the match was Aiko Urdas who put up eight.
