LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles star Kobe Bryant will not play in the Lakers’ final exhibition game Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers because of a torn ligament in his right wrist.
The National Basketball Association team said Bryant was injured during Monday’s loss to the same opponent. Doctors examined Bryant’s wrist Wednesday and it showed he had a torn ligament.
The Lakers said his status is day-to-day.
