Thailand’s Onkanok Soisuwan fired a three-under-par 69 on Wednesday and opened up a six-stroke lead over Cyna Rodriguez and two other Thais to virtually put a lock on the ICTSI Mount Malarayat Ladies Classic title in Lipa City.
Counting an opening 70 and despite signing for a double bogey on the 18th hole in the second round, Soiwusan will take a 139 aggregate into Thursday’s final round of the P1.25-million event.
Rodriguez and Polnamin Pannapa carded 74s, and Yoopan Tiranan assembled a 69 for 145s.
