Filoil: Cardinals win after Altas fail to show up at venue

Mapua didn’t break any sweat in keeping its record clean in the 2018 Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup on Tuesday.

The Cardinals didn’t have to after their opponent University of Perpetual Help failed to show up at the venue.

Mapua improved to 4-0, joining league-leaders Ateneo and La Salle on top of Group A standings, via forfeiture.

The head-scratching loss eliminated the Altas from contention with a 0-5 slate.
