Perpetual Help taps ex-Azkals captain Caligdong as football coach
Perpetual Help has tapped Azkals legend Chieffy Caligdong as its new football coach in hopes of winning its first football NCAA title in more than two decades.
Caligdong, who has retired from national team four years ago, is taking over for coach Aaron Carlos Nebreja and his arrival is expected to turn things around for the school.
The Altas won the NCAA football crown in 1989 and 1996 before the drought.
