/ 05:05 AM May 23, 2018

Looking to help more junior golfers in the country, the Sino-Filipino Friendship Day Golf Tournament tees off on May 28 at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong.

Jungolfers and their parents will see action at 6am while Filipino Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) members and guests will tee off at 12 noon in the event sanctioned by World Amateur Golfers Championship.

The one-day charity event, co-presented by FCAAF and the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., will help raise funds for the development of junior golfers in the country and for the programs of the Philippine Sports Institute.

“I want to see the kids, the jungolfers, that’s what I’m looking for, who has the potential to be developed,” said tournament director Oliver Gan, a former jungolfer who was tabbed as NCR program officer of the PSI recently.
