The duo of Terrence Romeo and presidential son-in-law Atty. Manases Carpio won the legends shootout which kicked off the 2018 PBA All-Star festivities Wednesday night at Davao del Sur Coliseum.

Romeo, who is playing through an ankle sprain, still came out with guns blazing and scored 24 points while Carpio, husband of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, added nine points to dominate their competition.

Another PBA great Kenneth Duremdes and teammates Rep. Bobby Pacquiao, who took the place of Sen. Manny Pacquiao in the side event, finished second best with 27 points.

PBA legend Allan Caidic, who once scored 79 points in a game, only  managed13 points while partner Special Assistant to the President Bong Go contributed nine points for a total of 22.

The part of Maj. Michael Sabsal and Scottie Thompson, meanwhile, came in last with 18 points combined. Celest Flores-Colina
