Chris Paul just did a Steph Curry.
After draining a tough triple to tie the game at 59 in the third quarter of Game 5, the Houston Rockets’ ultra-competitive star guard did a shimmy in front of Curry, who was grinning as he walked away from the scene.
The shimmy has been Curry’s go-to celebration move, which he didn’t hesitate busting out in the third quarter of the Golden State Warriors’ 126-85 rout of the Rockets in Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals.

This time, it was Paul and Houston’s time to celebrate as they pulled ahead 3-2 in the series after the thrilling 98-94 victory.
When asked about the shimmy, Curry simply tipped his hat to Paul.

“It was well-deserved,” Curry said in the post-game press conference. “It was a tough shot. If you can shimmy on somebody else, you’ve got to be alright getting shimmied on. So I’ll keep shimmying and maybe he will too, so we’ll see what happens.”
Paul, though, had to exit the game early with an apparent hamstring injury.
