Distributing the ball in a team where just about anybody can score has proven to be a “happy problem” for top setter Jia Morado in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference.
The former Ateneo standout dished out 29 excellent tosses to engineer Creamline’s 25-14, 27-25, 26-24 win over Tacloban on Sunday at Batangas City Coliseum.
“They make my job a lot easy because I can just give it to everyone,” said Morado.
The Cool Smashers’ second straight win handed them solo top spot at 4-1 while the Warays dropped to 2-3.
Later, Myla Pablo exploded with 21 points as defending champion Pocari-Air Force defeated erstwhile co-leader BaliPure, 25-19, 10-25, 25-17, 25-21. They tied idle PayMaya at 3-2.—MARC REYES
