SILANG, Cavite—Erwin Arcillas fired a second straight three-under-par 68 Thursday to wrest a two-stroke lead over Australia’s Damien Jordan halfway through the $100,000 ICTSI Riviera Challenge.
Arcillas gunned down six birdies against three bogeys for 136 as Jordan carded a 67 with Charles Hong shooting a level 71 to be another shot back.
First round leader Michael Bibat shot himself in the foot with a 75 to be five shots off together with Jobim Carlos, who fired a 70, and Japan’s Ryoma Miki and Thai Poosit Supupramai, who returned a 70 and 71, respectively.
Antonio Lascuña, American John Michael O’Toole and Yuta Sudo of Japan were at 140 after rounds of 71, 70 and 69, in that order.
