Angelo Kouame showed his force both inside and outside the paint, finishing with 17 points, on 3-of-4 shooting from deep, while grabbing 11 boards for the Blue Eagles.
Brothers Mike and Matt Nieto provided solid back-up for Kouame with 18 and 12 points, respectively, while Thirdy Ravena had 10 points.
The Blue Eagles 17-9 first quarter was enough for them to keep the Altas at bay as this became the foundation for their 24-point win.
Kim Aurin had 18 points and six boards to lead Perpetual while Prince Eze finished with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double.
In the other game, University of the East edged past National University, 78-74, in Group A for3-4 card.
Alvin Pasaol showed his girth to lead the Red Warriors with 22 points and 14 boards while Rey Acuno added 20 points of his own.
Incoming rookie Dave Ildefonso had 14 points to lead the Bulldogs who dropped to 3-5.
