Batang Gilas’ Forthsky Padrigao left India a head above his contemporaries after earning the MVP honor in the boys’ division of the Basketball Without Borders Asia camp at NBA Academy in Greater Noida, India.

As per Times of India, Padrigao joined India’s Sanjana Ramesh as the top players of the four-day camp conducted by the NBA and Fiba.

Padrigao went to India with Batang Gilas Raven Cortez to join the 66 boys and girls from 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region.

The Under-16 standout said that the camp not only taught him basketball skills but life lessons as well.

“I have not only improved as a basketball player but also as an individual,” said Padrigao in the  Times of India report. “

The focus here was on your overall development at the professional level, and I am glad to have won the MVP at the end of all of it.”
