Lucky 16 make Jr NBA roster
A total of 74 culled from thousand of hopefuls from regional selection camps in Bacolod, Baguio, Butuan, Metro Manila and Alaska Power Camp made it to the national training camp of Junior NBA Philippines.
From the 74 campers aged 10 to 14 years old, 16 made it to the 11th batch of Jr. NBA Philippines All-Stars held recently at Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City.
Sacramento Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein and Women’s NBA legend and Hall of Famer Sheryl Swoopes mentored the young dribblers with Jr. NBA coaches Carlos Barroca and Rob Newson and Alaska coaches led by Jeffrey Cariaso.
