Filipino Menchavez to make ONE debut in Macau
Another Filipino fighter will strut his stuff in Macau for ONE Championship’s Pinnacle of Power card on June 23.
Rodian Menchavez (5-1) is set to make his debut in the promotion, making it to the card that features interim ONE flyweight champion Geje Eustaquio (10-6) taking on undisputed ONE World flyweight titlist Adriano Moraes (17-2) in a title unification bout in the co-main event.
Eustaquio’s Team Lakay stable mates Edward Kelly (10-4) and Danny Kingad (6-1) are also in the card and are scheduled to face against Narantungalag Jadambaa (12-5) and Ma Hao Bin (10-2), respectively.
Article continues after this advertisementMenchavez will bring his four-fight winning streak on the line against China’s Li Kai Wen (7-4), the ONE Featherweight Beijing 2014 Champion, in their featherweight bout.
ONE Women’s World strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan (11-1) will defend her title against Argentinian Laura Balin (10-2) in the main event at Studio City Event Center.
Malaysia’s Ev Ting (15-4) will look to extend his winning streak to three fights against Japan’s Koji Ando (12-6), who is looking to stop his two-fight skid in their lightweight bout.

Lerdsila Phuket Top Team (186-31-5), a three-time Rajadamnern Stadium World Champion across three different weight classes, will face Cambodia’s Sok Thy (221-36-12) in the ONE Super Series Muay Thai division.
Cameroon’s Alain Ngalani, a four-time Muay Thai and kickboxing heavyweight World champion, (25-7-1, 2 NC) will duke it out against the Netherlands’ Tarik Khbabez (42-5-1), who was a two-time Heavyweight Superkombat World Champion.
Muay Thai practitioner Rui Botelho (17-6-2), who fights out of Portugal’s capital of Lisbon, will make his debut in the ONE Super Series against Japan’s Yoshinori Ogasawara (14-4-4).
Mario Satya Wirawan (5-5) of Indonesia will look to stop his three-fight skid against Cambodia’s Rin Saroth (2-5), who’s lost his last two fights, in their featherweight match in the card’s opening match.
