Former Miami big man Chris Bosh thinks that his old teammate LeBron James is headed Houston to build a Western Conference rivalry that would resemble an “Avengers movie.”
Bosh, speaking on the sports talk show The Herd with Colin Cowherd, guessed that James would bolt out of Cleveland anew and join the Rockets to get the best shot at unseating the reigning champions Golden State Warriors.
“I would guess that he goes to Houston,” he said. “Because it’s like the next Avengers movie. Just Golden State with like a hundred superheroes and then Houston with a hundred superheroes and they fight. That’s just what it’s coming down to.”
James left the Cavaliers in 2010 and joined Bosh and Dwyane Wade to form the highly-scrutinized “Big Three” in Miami, where they won back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

Eight years later, James and Cleveland are struggling to put away the Warriors, who added superstar Kevin Durant in 2016, anew in their fourth straight meeting in the NBA Finals. The Cavs are down 0-3.
With James having an option to opt out of his Cavs contract after just one title in four seasons, his free agency destination is one of the hottest topics again in the NBA.
In Houston, James could join one of his best friends in Chris Paul, who had just reached his first Western Conference finals in 12 years but got injured in Game 5 of the closely-contested series between the Rockets and the Warriors.
Some of the teams in James’ reported free agency list are the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers.
