BOCAUE, Bulacan — The Philippines ended its campaign on a winning note after dominating Russia, 19-12, in the Fiba 3×3 World Cup Monday night at Philippine Arena.

The Filipinos got going early and never looked back to finish the tournament with a 2-2 record.

Gilas bounced back from an earlier 20-19 defeat to Canada that booted the Filipinos out of contention.

Stanley Pringle redeemed himself with a dazzling performance against the Russians after having a subpar outing in the loss to the Canadians.

Troy Rosario also gave the Philippines a big lift as he caught fire behind-the-arc. He nailed three consecutive long balls to put the game away, 14-3, with under four minutes left.

Canada, which went 4-0 in the group stage, and Mongolia (3-1) secured the quarterfinal slots in Pool C.
