After departure from UST, Sta. Ana focused on improving self

After bidding farewell to University of Santo Tomas last month, Jordan Sta. Ana is keeping his focus on playing basketball and making himself better.

On Saturday, Sta. Ana was back on the court as he led his team to the top of the 2018 Red Bull Reign Philippines 3×3 tournament.

“I just want to focus on where I’m playing at right now,” Sta Ana, who is also suiting up for Che’Lu Bar and Grill in the PBA D-League, said in Filipino.

The 20-year-old guard, who left UST due to personal reasons,  averaged 11.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in his lone UAAP season with the Tigers.

It didn’t take long before Sta. Ana found a new home at Letran in a reunion with his former high school coach Jeff Napa.

“Me and my father were already talking with Letran officials. It was the only school we talked to,” Sta. Ana, who left UST due to personal reasons, said.

Napa announced Sta. Ana’s addition to the Knights.
