F2 Logistics scored a comfortable 25-20, 25-16, 25-20 victory over Generika-Ayala on Thursday and remained unbeaten in the Philippine Superliga Invitational Cup at FIloil Flying V Centre.
Fresh from a stint in Sisaket, Thailand, the Cargo Movers hardly flinched against the Lifesavers’ last-minute uprising to post their second win in as many matches.
Quickly, F2 stalwarts Dawn Macandili and Ara Galang credited their level of play from their performance in Thailand where they faced the Thai national team.
“There, we got to see how we fare against the best clubs in the region,” said Galang, who hammered nine points.
Macandili, who collected 13 excellent digs, said the Thai meet allowed them to further work on their teamwork, which is their strength.
“We felt stronger as a team and today, playing here, we still carried that high level of play,” added Macandili in Filipino.
