PayMaya overcomes BanKo to complete PVL finals cast
PayMaya endured rough winds and survived BanKo, 22-25, 14-25, 25-14, 25-23, 15-12, to barge into the finals of the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The High Flyers will face Alyssa Valdez and Creamline in the best-of-three finals starting Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.

High Flyers head coach Roger Gorayeb said the key to their victory was his team’s confidence and grit to erase a two-set deficit the start of the match.
“I was always telling them that they have to get their confidence into a high level, they shouldn’t lose hope within themselves,” said Gorayeb in Filipino. “During the first two sets, my God, everybody played terribly it’s as if we went here to just play.”

Lakia Bright put up a game-high 41 points to lead the Perlas Spikers while Montripila Jutarat had 18.
