Air Force dethrones Cignal for PVL men’s title
Philippine Air Force survived a five-set thriller against Cignal, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-25, 13-15, and claimed the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference men’s title Wednesday at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
It was sweet revenge for the Jet Spikers as they dethroned the HD Spikers and avenged their loss from last season’s finals.
A net touch error prolonged the match in the final set, 14-13, before Jeffrey Malabanan sealed the championship with a quick kill.

An attack error on the Jet Spikers capped a 13-4 blitz for the HD Spikers in the fourth canto, 25-15.
Finals Most Valuable Player Bryan Bagunas spearheaded the Jet Spikers with 30 points while Alnakean Abdilla chipped in 18 markers.
