NLEX, Blackwater to represent PH in Asia League Super 8
NLEX and Blackwater had short campaigns in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup after failing to enter the quarterfinals but that doesn’t mean the two teams will just linger around and wait for the Governors’ Cup.
The two teams are joining the Asia League Super 8 where they will compete against other clubs from China, Chinese-Taipei, Japan, and South Korea.
Xinjiang Flying Tigers, a one-time CBA champion, and Guangzhou Long Lions will represent China while B.League’s Rising Zephyr Fukuoka are the Japanese representatives.
