MANILA, Philippines—Adamson seeks a fifth straight victory when it clashes with Far Eastern U in the quarterfinals of the Shakey’s V-League Season 7 Second Conference at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan Thursday.   The Lady Falcons go into the 4 p.m. game oozing confidence after a five-set conquest of erstwhile leader San Sebastian last Sunday.   The Lady Stags look to bounce back from that loss against the National U Lady Bulldogs in the first game at 2 p.m., while Ateneo and Lyceum cap off the three-game bill when they meet at 6 p.m.   Adamson and San Sebastian are seeking repeats of their elimination-round victories as they try to keep their hold of top spots.   “We’ve been playing well but it doesn’t mean that FEU will just allow us to play our game,” said Adamson coach Dulce Pante. “We expect a tough challenge from them.”   The Lady Falcons looked every inch a title contender with their 15-25, 25-21, 13-25, 25-19, 15-13 win over the Lady Stags last Sunday.   Nerissa Bautista, who finished with 23 points in the win over San Sebastian, will once again be the focal point of the attack with top blockers Michelle Laborte and Pau Soriano expected to take the cudgels on the defensive end.   They will be facing an FEU side with an improved form following the entry of guest players Rachelle Ann Daquis and Michelle Carolino in the lineup.   Determined to make an impact in its first season in the league, National U is hoping it can sustain its superb form that saw the Lady Bulldogs fight back from two sets down to nip Perpetual Help and barge into  the quarterfinals.   With Dahlia Cruz and Mary Jean Balse leading the way, Lyceum is seeking to avenge its elimination-round loss to Ateneo.
