Reed, Kahlefeldt out to extend PH 70.3 dominance

Tim Reed of Australia and Radka Kahlefeldt of the Czech Republic will try to keep their winning streak in the country going when they vie in the Ironman 70.3 Philippines in Cebu on Aug. 5.

The 33-year-old Reed, the 2016 world champion, has ruled the Cebu half-Ironman event the past two years and likewise won the 2016 Asia Pacific championships, also held in Cebu.

The elite men’s cast also includes three-time world Ironman titlist and two-time world 70.3 king Craig Alexander, also of Australia.

The 1.9kilometer swim-90km bike-21.2km run event will kick off at the beachfront of Shangri-La Mactan Resort.
