UP outlasts La Salle in PVL men’s action
University of the Philippines upended La Salle in a 23-25, 25-19, 25-27, 25-22, 15-12 thriller in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference men’s division Saturday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Fighting Maroons mounted a 10-4 start in the deciding set en route to their first win.
“This PVL stint is the time for my team to execute our program, rebuilding the character since the skill is already there,” UP head coach Hans Chuacuco said in Filipino.

Team captain Mark Millette led the Fighting Maroons with a career-high 31 points.
