University of the Philippines upended La Salle in a 23-25, 25-19, 25-27, 25-22, 15-12 thriller in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference men’s division Saturday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Fighting Maroons mounted a 10-4 start in the deciding set en route to their first win.

A La Salle service error and a 4 service ace forced the decider for UP, which overpowered La Salle in the spiking column, 60-50.
Team captain Mark Millette led the Fighting Maroons with a career-high 31 points.
