Former Inquirer editorial assistant Norman Lee Benjamin Riego of ABS-CBN Sports has been elected unanimously as the new president of the NCAA Press Corps. Also elected were Spin.ph’s Christian Jacinto (vice president) and Randolph B. Leongson (secretary), Manila Standard’s Peter Atencio (assistant secretary), Tiebreaker Times’ Matthew Li (treasurer) and ESPN5’s Yo Sarmenta (auditor). Named board of directors were outgoing president Cedelf Tupas of the Inquirer, Joey Villar of Star, Reuben Terrado of Spin.ph and Marivic Awitan of Balita.
