Art Barrientos of TBAM-Prima leads the Mixed Open division of the 4th Grand Mall Tenpin Bowling Club (GMTBC)-Yee Lu Fa Invitational Open Championships, results of the second day of qualifying games on Sunday at the Sta. Lucia Mall Bowling Center in Cainta, Rizal, showed.
Barrientos posted a total of 1353 after six games, followed by Tyrone Ongpauco, also of TBAM-Prima, with 1352, and Charles Calamba of Sta. Lucia East Tenpin Bowling Association (Sletba) with 1323.
In the Mixed Classified category, Robert Evangelista of TBAM paces the field with 1276, with Calamba just a pin behind at 1275, and Jun de Guzman of GMTBC at third with 1272.
De Guzman is leading the Mixed Seniors class with 1344, with Danny Torres of Sletba and Fernand deal Cruz of the Pasig Bowling Association (PBA) close by with 1289 and 1278, respectively.
Art Barrientos is currently on top of the Mixed Youth category with 1305, followed by Kayle Abad of TBAM-Nobleland with 1296, and Noelle Campos of TBAM-Prima with 1293.
Meanwhile, Kassie Yap of Sletba leads the Mixed 14 and Under field with 1054 after four games, with Alexa Nuqui of PBA-Nobleland keeping pace with 950, and Grace Hernandez of TBAM-Prima with 917.
The handicapping tournament sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation will run till Aug. 19. Qualifying games are being held daily till Friday.
