Asian Games: Philippines sweeps Hong Kong for first volleyball win
The Philippines snapped its three-game losing skid and dumped Hong Kong, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22, in the women’s volleyball event of the 2018 Asian Games Thursday at GOR Bulungan in Jakarta.
The win gave the Filipinos another glimmer of hope to reach the quarterfinals as they sit at the fourth spot of Pool A with a 1-3 card.

Kianna Dy, though, finished things off for the Filipinos who sit behind host Indonesia, 2-1, in the pool.
Alyssa Valdez led the Philippines with 14 points while Santiago and Mika Reyes added a combined 20 points.
