NCAA: Quinto gets another triple double as Letran routs EAC
Bong Quinto carried Letran anew to a 75-56 clobbering of Emilio Aguinaldo College in the NCAA Season 94 men’s basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Quinto impressed with another triple-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists as the Knights zoomed to the sixth win, good for a share of the third place with St. Benilde.
Article continues after this advertisementLast Tuesday, Quinto also registered 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 dimes in Letran’s 84-64 win over Mapua.
“I hope he keeps it up,” said Letran coach Jeff Napa of Quinto.
The Generals faltered to 2-7.

Justin Gutang and Yankie Haruna paced the Blazers with fired 20 points apiece while transferee James Pasturan had a personal best 13 points, all but two in the fourth.
The Altas were in control midway in the third period but faltered when Edgar Charcos hyperextended his right knee.
Perpetual Help fell to its third straight defeat.
