Adamson sweeps; UP gains semis

Adamson made a clean sweep of the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference eliminations just as University of the Philippines punched the last ticket to the semifinals at Filoil Flying V Centre on Sunday night.

The Lady Maroons handily disposed of the San Beda Lady Red Spikers, 25-19, 25-16, 25-9, to complete the Final Four cast.

Earlier, the Lady Falcons picked up No. 7 after a 19-25, 25-10, 25-21, 25-13 victory over the San Sebastian Lady Stags, who finished the conference winless in seven matches.

Bernadette Flora topscored with 17 points while veteran Eli Soyud helped up with 15 points and MJ Igao who tallied 28 excellent sets.
